I decided to reveal who I am and use my real name as a writer instead of hiding behind a pseudonym. Now I’ve created a Substack: https://jingjingtian.substack.com/
All of this feels like a debutant ball for me. But instead of getting dressed up and wearing a ball gown, I’m just being myself. This is me trying to be brave and do something new. My goal is to post once a week on Substack. The topics can range from family dynamics to the film industry to the publishing industry to dating to fashion to sports. It’ll be a personal take.
My goal is to write more regularly, improve my titles and subtitles, and find a focus for my writing or maybe I’ll just about all things Jingjing. My personal goal is to put myself out there, be an authentic version of myself out in the world (even if I’m afraid, ashamed, and embarrassed), and hopefully help others to heal (whatever it is) and accept themselves more.
